Manual Handling

Materials are shovelled into the hopper through a screen which separates oversize materials and can be used as an anvil for breaking up large sheets of scale.

Sluicing jets continually wash the material down into the main jet stream.

The pressurised supply fluid is converted by the nozzle into velocity energy. The emerging supply fluid is collected by the mixing chamber. In passing from the nozzle to the mixing chamber it entrains the surrounding material,  the two combine and share the supply energy progressively until at the end of the chamber they are completely missed. The diffuser provides a final velocity suitable for the discharge line.
